This volunteer role is a unique opportunity to use your skills and talents doing important work while gaining valuable work experience in a major international NGO.
The Right to Education Project (RTE), housed at ActionAid International in London, is a collaborative initiative between ActionAid International, Amnesty International, the Global Campaign for Education, Save the Children and Human Rights Watch. RTE promotes mobilisation and accountability on the right to education, seeking to build bridges across human rights, education and development disciplines.
Join the team and you will get involved in implementing a range of RTE projects and initiatives. These will include assisting legal research, helping to develop and maintain our website (www.right-to-education.org) as well as supporting events and activities.
As well as being committed to the right to education, you will need a solid understanding of international human rights law, including economic and social rights. Comfortable producing web content you will have excellent English writing abilities as well as experience of using a web content management systems. You must also possess good organisational and administrative skills.
